PROYECTO Nº 2

LOUNMARKS (MONUMENTOS)

EIFFEL TOWER”

The Eiffel Tower is in Paris, (France).
It measures about 330 meters.
The Eiffel Tower was built in two years, two months and five days.

Specifically, it is located at the end of the Camp de Mars at the river Seine.
It's a very nice monumet and also one of the large. The artist of the Eiffel Tower was the enginner Gustave Eiffel, who takes name.
At first, Parisians were not under construction because they thought it was too modern and not adapted to the landscape of the Elysian Fields.
Today it has grown to become the most important symbol of the city.

By Inmaculada.

Big Ben

The Big Ben is a big bell at the clock tower in the Westminster Palace in London.

It is 153 years old. The bell weighs 3 tons.

On New Year's Eve 1962, the clock was delayed due to the large amount of snow between the needles, so that the new year came with 10 minutes delay.
